Samos, a small island close to the Turkish coast in the eastern Aegean Sea,
is about 25 km. long and 50 km wide. It is one of the greenest Greek islands.
The enchanting village of Ambelos is situated on the lush northern side of the island, on the edge of the Karvouni-massif at an altitude of about 350 meters.
A beautiful mountain area that makes a great starting-point for magnificent hiking.
The area is particularly famous for its vineyards, fruit culture and olive groves. We offer you the opportunity to buy our house, called "Spiti-Karthoum", in Ambelos amid these magnificent surroundings. The house is equipped for 2 persons. However, it is possible to place an additional third bed. The house consists of one space (32 m2) with an open kitchen, seperat toilet/shower and a balcony with French windows. There are various restaurants in the village of Ambelos which serve delicious meals. The two local shops will provide you with all you need; e.g. daily fresh baked bread is available. Merchants, who in a noisy way offer their goods such as fruit, vegetables, fish, clothing or glassware, frequently visit the village. Ambelos is a vivid village that is rarely visited by tourists; another, rather unique circumstance that contributes to the original atmosphere.
